Day 1: Arrive Cape Town / Langebaan
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you are met by a Thompsons Representative and assisted to your hired vehicle. Depart Cape Town and travel north through Bloubergstrand for a spectacular view of Table Mountain. Continue along the coastal route visiting the renowned Posberg Nature Reserve, with its carpets of indigenous fl owers and antelope that roam the area before making you way to Langebaan. Langebaan is set on the stunningly beautiful Langebaan Lagoon and is a well known seaside resort, offering many activities, amongst them sailing, windsurfi ng and kayaking. Enjoy an overnight stay at The Farmhouse Hotel.
Day 2: Langebaan / Cederberg Mountains
This morning after leaving Langebaan, we suggest a visit to one of the many quaint fi shing villages within the area like Paternoster and Lambert’s Bay, and experience one of the informal outdoor restaurants. After peeking into the laidback character of this part of the Western Cape, head towards the Cederberg Mountains, where you will spend the next 2 nights at Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve.
Day 3: Cederberg Mountains
Kagga Kamma, with its 15 000ha of untouched peaceful wilderness, stunning Cederberg rock formations and rich San cultural history, is well worth a visit for guests looking for a retreat a little off the beaten track. View rock paintings, adventure out on a guided quad bike safari or hiking trail, enjoy a massage at the health and beauty salon or relax in luxury under the stars. Sumptuous cuisine and excellent local wines can be enjoyed under the stars in the stunning rock boma.
Day 4: Cederberg Mountain / Clanwilliam
After a relaxing time at Kagga Kamma, make you way to the beautiful Clanwilliam situated at the foot of the mighty Cederberg mountain range. There are a host of relaxing activities to enjoy including the beauty of the mountains, rock art, bird-watching, historical buildings and the scenic beauty of the fl owers in ‘fl ower season’. Clanwilliam is also famous for growing and cultivating Rooibos Tea and for its original leather ‘Veldskoene’ factory. Enjoy a relaxing evening at Clanwilliam Lodge.
Day 5: Clanwilliam / Depart Cape Town
Carry on the road through to Paarl, and we suggest you enjoy some of the many wine estates in this beautiful wine country, before returning to Cape Town International Airport for you onward meander.
